Select the icon to configure Milestones to appear on the Timeline.
Level Identifier: Select the field which identifies the item level you wish to see milestones from.
Identifier: Select the field which uniquely identifies the milestone.
Label: Select the field which describes the milestone
Display on Timeline: Select to display the label on the chart, with options for the label’s text alignment and colour.
When Display on Timeline is selected, additional options for Alignment (the label can be displayed to the left, centred on, or to the right, of the Milestone icon) and Text Colour are available.
Date: Select a date field which indicates the date the milestone occurs.
Colour: Select a keyword field, the colours associated with the keywords will be used for the milestone icons and override the default colour.
Default Colour: Select a default colour for the display of milestones. This colour will be used unless a keyword field has been assigned to the colour.
Shape: Choose from polygon or star.
Number of sides: Choose the number of sides your chosen shape has.
Preview: Displays a preview of the milestone icon with the settings that have been selected.
Conditional formatting: Conditional formatting can be set for milestones to change the shape and colour depending on data rules. Select the Conditions tab to set this.
Press the Add Condition button to start creating conditional formatting.
Column: Select a column to check the rule condition against.
Rules: Add one or more rule conditions, if the condition is true, the Milestone icon will be displayed in the format specified.
Background colour, Shape and Number of sides, Preview: If the rule condition is true the milestone icon will be displayed as shown in the preview
