Since different types of projects require varying data, particularly agile projects when compared to waterfall projects, you can specify the fields and layouts for several project types, and which apply to each workflow status for projects of that type. These determine the format when editing projects that are specified for the varying project types and allow different fields to be shown at various stages of the project so that only relevant fields appear.
When setting up the fields for a project type, you can specify several tabs and can arrange fields by section within each tab. You can also click Layouts to choose a one- or two-column style.
