These entries must be created if you activate project workflows rather than using project lifecycles. Use them to define various types of projects that require varied input and processing.
By specifying various project types, you can distinguish between the more traditional waterfall projects that are relatively rigid and structured in their approach, and the more agile type of projects that focus on continuous improvement through team input and enable smaller and more frequent deliverables. Each of these will have a different workflow and set of fields.
Existing project types are listed:
Click Add to create another project type or, for an existing record, click:
• then:
o Details to enter or change definitions for the project type
o Edit to change identification details for the project type
o Copy to create a project type based on the current one:
Enter a unique name and description, then click Copy to create the project type, which you can edit as necessary.
o Delete to clear the current project type, providing it is not assigned to a project
•the project name to enter or change its definitions.
