Here you will determine the action types that are available when adding an action using this view. If this is a Process Support view type, you must restrict the types that are used and so cannot make all actions types available. For a Standard view type, checking ‘This Action View is available to all Action Types’ means a user can select any type when adding an action.
The action types for a Process Support action view constitute a series of steps that are undertaken to achieve a particular aim. They are processed in the sequence they are listed so that all steps need to be completed in order to achieve the aim of the view.
NOTE: |
If the view is not to be available to all action types, the types are listed. Check those that are to apply and click the arrow buttons to change the position of listed entries so that the most commonly used ones appear first. In the case of a Process Support type, this indicates the processing sequence.
You can also change the contents of the list, providing the action view has no live processes, by clicking:
- Add Action Type to select appropriate records, which are then listed
- Copy From to copy settings from a selected action view; if you do this, the view can no longer be available to all types. This action is not available for Process Support types.
- Remove, after checking one or more listed entries, to delete them and prevent access to the action type.
