When you set up a project, you will normally identify the specific resources that can be used. Each of these resources has set cost and charge rates for standard and overtime hours, indicating the fixed hourly rates to be applied. However, it is possible to specify a different charge rate to the user for the project — this will be applied to all time that is booked, whatever the resource. You can adjust the charges for the project if you want to charge different hourly rates for any of the charge codes on a project or if you want to charge individual resources at different rates to normal.
Existing charge details are shown for the project you are processing over two sub-tabs. Select a tab to alter the charging information in a required way. Alternatively, click Override Resource Charge Code, select a Charge Code to apply and then adjust rates if necessary at the Project sub-tab (next).
