The principles for entering and amending data are standard and are described at Entering Data.
Some input fields have available actions:
|
to find existing data via a search. Once selected, a name or description is displayed. |
|
to add a record of the selected type. |
Most data is input over a series of tabbed forms that you can select by clicking the relevant link. In general, these forms and their content are fixed and are described here. However:
•any input fields that are not covered will be custom fields. Here you will select available data from a drop-down list or may input another value to use and can click Add to List if it is to be made available for selection. Certain custom fields are mandatory and you cannot save the record if they are omitted.
•forms that are not covered here will contain only custom fields that are defined under a non-standard heading.
Some records have a ‘ ’ to view posts and add comments.
